01

Find a clinic that offers PatientFi

PatientFi only works at participating practices, mostly elective care: cosmetic dental, MedSpa and dermatology, plastic surgery, fertility, hair restoration, audiology and vision. Ask your clinic at checkout, or use PatientFi’s provider search.

Apply in minutes, with a soft check

You apply on your phone, tablet or computer. PatientFi says checking what you qualify for uses a soft credit check that doesn’t affect your score. The patient, a legally married spouse, or a parent of the patient can apply, and there’s no fee.

03

Your clinic sends a payment request

Once you’re approved, the practice issues a transaction request to PatientFi for the cost of your treatment. It appears in your PatientFi account, ready for you to review.

Check this first: the amount should match your written quote. If it doesn’t, PatientFi asks you to have the provider correct it before you accept.
04

Pick a plan and accept

In the portal you choose between promotional plans (0% only if paid in full before the promo ends) and fixed-rate plans (the same payment every month, with advertised APRs from 6.99%, or 3.99% for fertility). You link a debit card or bank account, set autopay or a first payment, then accept. That releases the funds to your clinic.

05

Pay monthly until you’re done

Online payments open about 3–5 days after you accept, and your first payment is due 30 days after the practice charges your account. Statements live under Manage Account, then Account Documents. You can pay extra or pay off early with no prepayment penalty.
